Well, It's my birthday today. So I'm buy'en a round for everyone in the Saloon. Coffee for me.

I'm 45 years old, all in a row. I've never been this old before, so maybe some of you real old-timers can tell me what it was like.

I got the whole day off. 1st day off since the first of the year. No phone calls, no customers, no jobs, no nothen. I got to finnish a whole cup of coffee and a bowl of Grapenuts with no interuptions, there was even whole milk in the fridge. Went out and fed my critters in my long johns. That was a little brisk at 0 degreees out. So I was awake when I opened my presents.

I get to spend the morning loafing so I went right here to GB Outdoors. This afternoon I'll ride the horse and mules, then my "little princess" is taking me out to eat. Life is good!

Wal happy birthday thar pard. Kinda hard to remember back that far but seems like 45 wasn't too bad. It does however go down hill from there and some times real fast like it's a steep slope.

The year after that I developed siactica the day after Mrs. GB had surgery for cancer. While I was supposed to be taking care of her I couldn't get out of bed and she was having to look after me.

So enjoy it while ya can.

Well Happy Birthday Pard. Pour me a shot there bar keep and get the kid one too. Seems ta me lak ya got bout 5 years or so til things start goin ta hades on ya, been a spall lak the Marshall said but best as I can recollect the down hill started bout 50 and its been a son-a-gun ever since. I guess my day on GB Outdoors is about to end here. Going out to eat.

I even got to become an Avid Poster on my birthday! Can life get any better?
