.45 Colt in Puma M92 .454?

I just picked up a LSI Puma M92 Stainless in .454 Casuall, and shot it both yesterday and today.
   My question:  Are they supposed to be able to feed .45 Colt as well?  Mine feeds .454 no problem, but when it comes to .45 Colt, the Winchester Cowboy loads (250 gr. round-nosed flat tip) jam up just after the bullet enters the chamber, before the brass tips up to align with the bore.  Cor-Bon .45 Colt with 335 grain hard cast have a different shape to the bullet, and those feed no problem.
When I work the action fast, they feed better, but I am worried about seating the bullet deeper into the brass if I do get a hangup, which happens about 1 in 3 (when working the action fast-otherwise it is every time with few exception)

Do to the pressures of the 454, it is not a good idea to be using the 45Colt in this firearm. Yes you can, but the chamber had better be spotless when you switch to the 454 loading. Not easy to accomplish with the M92 design action. Freedom Arms does not endorse it in their revolver for this reason. Why jeopardise bystanders for a mistake that should NEVER happen. Handload reduced loads in the Casull cases. Even these require chamber cleaning because of cabon buildup in the throats. Something to think about.
