How do you like the APS hand priming system? What i would like to get away from is changing shell holders every time i change cartriges. Thanks- Tad

I like the idea if you can get the primers in the strips. I have never seen them for sale at a gun shop, so they would either be special order items through a gun shop, or mail order items (with their attendant haz-mat fee).  The prices I've seen for primers in APS strips is slightly more than primers without the strips.  If I had to load the strips myself, I would not use the APS system.  It would simply be too time-consuming.

I use the Dillon priming tubes for my high-volume loading and it takes 10 minutes to load 500 primers into tubes.   It works great and you never have to touch a primer (well, almost never.)

I have the bench mounted model it uses a regular shell holder don't have to take it apart to put the shellholder in. I like it works fine some shops around here carry the primers in strips and I get them at gun shows

I can get empty strips, and a loader from midsouth for what i consider a good price. The loader inserts 25 primers at a time into strips. Saw a guy use one on shooting USA program- looked very fast and easy. It says to use cci primers, but i would think any brand would work just as well. The hand press he was using had some kind of universal shell holder though, and worked on all cases. Someone out there must be using one, Huh?

are the little plastic strips reuseable?
if so all you nead is a few of each an you can just pump a few strips out  one day an have enough to cover your loading time at the bench

Strips are reusable I got the loading tool when I bought the priming tool when they first came out the the loading tool was included easy to use I use cci primers so I just buy them in the strips same price If you get one let us know how it works for you
