I have been a fan of stainless steel handguns and rifles since the model 60 smith came out in the Vietnam era. Most of my guns are stainless, including my encore and contender frames, and all their barrels. Thompson-Center seems to have a problem with stainless steel (witness the two years of the G-2 blue version). I have all the barrels I want, except for a stainless steel 12 gauge barrel for the Encore. Does anyone make one, or have any been made in the past? Thanks in advance!
