those topper classic deluxes look pretty good but i never used a vent rib on birds though, just beads on the barrel.
my skeet and sporting clays guns have vent ribs on them, and the site pattern is quite different from any of my field guns. you need to float the bird over the bead the vent rib guns in my experience.
how does the topper site picture compare to a pardner ? does it have a monte carlo stock ? on the web site it looks like a regular stock but with the vent rib it seems like you woudl need a monte carlo.
they look really good and i wouldn't mind picking up a 20 gauge !
