How much shooting do you guys do a year to keep in good form.

When I got my first job every week I bought a 500 rd brick of 22's. Every week I shot them. Some on saturday, and some each day on my lunch hour. I had just purchased my first handgun a colt fronter scout. I was thinking about this the other day and got out the calulator. I was amazed that 500 rds per week is 26,000 rds in a year. I did this for many years. At the same time buying other guns and learning to reload. Thats a lot of shooting.

How about you guys?   Regards, Byron

I have no clue. I shoot so many different guns and I would have to have an accountant to add it all up... :D

Hello Joe how you doing. I was born in 45 and began shooting in the early 50's. It was about 1961 when I got my first job with a paycheck, had to be 16 then you know. I married my childhood sweetheart in 1965 at the ripe old age of 19, turned 20 a few months later.

From 1961 until the present time every dollar that my family or church did not need I have spent on guns, ammo, and pickup trucks. In about that order.

When I began to run some numbers it was mind boggling. Of course there is some estimation as I did not keep good records. But I did buy ammo by the cases, and powder by the kegs.  :D Regards, Byron
