Just rea on Hunt America about a bill (Assembly Bill 4306) intorduced by Assemblyman Felix D. Ortiz D-Brooklyn (where else of course) that would create an Office of  Advocacy for Wildlife. The office would advise all branches of state gov. and to study, develope, encourage, and provide assistance for non-lethal management of wildlife. Just a move to wipe out hunting in a covert way.
Contact your state reps. and go to www.ussportsmen.org for more info.
With all the problems the city has you'd think this guy could find better things to do.
If hunting goes out the window eventually so does another reason to own guns. Don't think for one minute that this is not the liberals true objective.
All the other rights we enjoy hinge upon this. An unarmed population is a population that can easily be controlled.

Seem to me its just another useless position to make our already "TOO BIG" government bigger. Sounds like another liberal appointee to infest,infect and try to eat away at our rights.

Qtip is right get involved  contact your representatives let them know how you feel, then get out there and vote smart on election day. Its the only non-lethal way to manage liberals in our state and beyond.

Nice...As if NY State Government is not too big already... :evil:

Take away all the income from the sportsman in NY and other out of state license holders and you have an even bigger problem.

I tell you, I am one more stupid legislative move away from leaving this state.  We are already overtaxed to the point that other states point fingers and laugh...Why do our politicians want to make us more of a mockery?  :roll:

Geez Qtip, are some of those blasted liberals from New Jersey(that are all over the place here) slowly infecting New York too?? Perhaps we need legislation authorizing a season on 2 legged liberal varmints, who probably do more damage to wildlife than all the 4 legged varmints combined. Hope you and yours are well and don't have cabin fever yet, spring is almost here.

They have been for a long, long, time. They're mostly from below the Orange County line. Cut it off and make it the 51st. Long time no hear. Hope everythings okay. Cabin fever? I'm way past that. Of course it pays to be nuts to begin with.
