Lyman Moly-lube Question?
« on: March 05, 2005, 07:57:57 PM »
Has anyone used Lyman Moly-lube with their cast bullets?  If so, does it coat the barrel like moly coated bullets do?  I don't want to use something that is going to cause a barrel cleaning problem.  Although I have never used moly coated bullets, I understand that moly fouling is a chore to remove.
Thanks for any info,
TnNuc

I have used the Lyman Super Moly and like it. It doesn't seem to be like the moly bullets or something you have to clean out your barrel about. I don't use moly bullets either, but this lube has worked like good regular bullet lube for me.

Lyman Moly-lube Question?

Kingfish,
Thanks for the info.  I'm glad to hear that.  After I loaded up my lube-sizer with lyman moly lube, I happened to notice a comment in Lyman's ad that led me to think that I might get some build-up.  I'm glad to find out that I don't have to scoop all that stuff out of my sizer.
Best,
