Range location?
« on: March 06, 2005, 07:32:27 AM »
I've noticed that the stool shooters have a spot on one of their boards for GPS range location and IMO that's a pretty good idea.

As soon as I can, I'll get GPS coordinates for the ranges around here and post them. If the rest of you will do that, I'll compile a list and post it so that it can be printed or kept as a reference file.

That works perfectly -- I didn't think of TerraServer.
That gives us Atglen and I've got Haltom City, Ft Wolters, Coolidge and Winnsboro in Texas.
Who's next?

Ernie,
Microsoft Streets and Trips has a location sensor in the product which provides coordinates wherever your cursor is on the map.  If you don't have it I can get it and ship it to you.
