Buying from Davidsons ?
« on: March 06, 2005, 08:40:40 AM »
Did the Davidson search and found a SS .357 and .45 Colt Vaquero
$481.68 each, Out the door.
The sale ends tomorrow and I really don't like giving personal info. over the net. Do you know if I have to deal over the net to get the Davidson deal or can I go to the shop that sell for Davidson ?

You will need to find a dealer that buys from Davidson's.  They don't sell to just anyone, you need to have an account with them.  If you don't have an FFL, they won't set you up with an account. ~~ raynor

I purchased my 5th gun on JAN 05 2005 using Davidson's. It was painless, very good deals compared to regular local prices. If you go directly to your dealer without first getting the Davidson’s guaranteed price you may have to pay more. Davidson’s requires an up front
NON-REFUNDABLE down payment to lock in the price. I have saved from $75 to over $300 on guns I got through them as compared to stocked prices in the very same shop. The last gun I purchased was a Ruger 22/45 for $225.00. When I picked it up there were two others in the display case priced at $345.00 before taxes. BTY I did a quick ckeck on the .45 you list and my Davidson's price is $395.95 for all the guns they have listed as 99+ in stock.
Love those .41s'

Those prices you see when you do the Gun finder on Davidson's site are caluculated useing a particular markup set my the individual dealer.  Not surprised the price online would be lower than one on a shop shelved gun.  It's a 100% gauranted immeadiate sale.  No money of the dealers tied up in it unlike those itting on his shelf.  Aslo he has to expect some price drop on the shelved items so having a bit of a higher price on the in-shop itmes still allows a decent profit for him.
