Front Sight on SBH Hunter

Can the front sight be changed.  I am looking for something thinner.

I have wondered about this also. I have not done it but will also ask if anyone has filed their front sight narrower or to a point? with arms the length of mine the front sight covers about 10'' at 100 yards.
