Weaver base with Burris Sig rings

I keep reading that people are using the basic weaver base and 3 burris signature rings. I will be buying a .308 Win or larger 16" barrel. I like the idea of the above base/ring set, but have no idea how you would actually mount 3 rings.

If there is room on your scope you can actually get four on there.  Look at a weaver 92a base or equivalent and you will see four locations for the clamp cross-bolt.  So far I am very happy with the Burris Signature Zee rings on a Weaver style base.

I went with the Burris Dual Dovetail and signiture rings on a 16 1/4  " barrel in 308 win. works great. That what Fred at Bullberry uses.
