I love the 16ga. However, when I finally got to pattern my old Winchester Model 12 with polychoke, I found that even the "full" choke setting gave an open modified pattern with 1 oz handloads, though the 1 1/8 oz loads were a little better.....

Yes I have patterned my gun with a few differnts loads . The best I got out of it was with the PMC heavy field loads shooting #4 shot. I'm planning on using it for my second turkey tag this spring.
Its holding a good pattern out to about 30 yrds
