I'm talking the older round, the one 375 H&H rounds will still work in. How does it compare to the 375 H&H? "It's faster and has more kick and has more power." Ok, but is it a good tradeoff, ie does it give power or trajectory that's worth the additional expense in recoil and cost per round? I'm assuming it to be a comparably powerful and more versatile choice than the 375 RUM.
A few specific questions:
Is there anything out there that the 375 Wby would make a big difference in hunting, ie would the animal feel the difference (ie is the difference that big)?
Would using 375 H&H cases in it result in less accuracy or even velocity for expanding the case inside the chamber?
Could most 375 H&H rifles be safely rechambered for the 375 Wby? (ie Win M70, Browning A-bolt, Weatherby MkV, SAKO, etc)
Would 375 H&H cases used in the 375 Wby be instantly usable as 375 H&H cases or would additional forming be necessary?
Thanks all!
