223 Rem Ultra Varmint!

:noway:  Fact: The man just asked a technical question on using the 223 on turkeys. Open forum or not, I feel the attack on his hunting ethics/style was not called for. Moderators have all stated he should be sensitive to the "open forum" and realize he was asking for it.  Why wasn't the moderator sensitive to other hunting styles and withheld the attack? Yes, I was around to see the old forum go down. There we had forum members do the same belittling and attacking we just saw a moderator do.  I'd rather see a moderator support another sportsman in doing his own legal thing, in his own state. (By the way: what is gained by cursing at or attacking another state? Is this a North/South thing?) PETA would love to see sportsmen divided like that. GB, thank you for providing an "open forum" where we all can contribute our opinions. By the way, I've lost track on how many turkeys I've taken here in the great hunting state of Montana. All with rifle or handgun. While I have found birds with healed shotgun wounds, I have never found one with a healed rifle or handgun wound.
Good shooting..mt

Is this your interpretation of what I said?...if it is...then your quite wrong in your analogy of the discussion...this is an open forum...and everyone can post to it...not just a select few...and since everyone holds a different opinion...the poster can and usually will receive different ones...

Moderators have opinions too...and in this case...an apology was offered for the comments made...but wasn't accepted...that was his choice...no one asked him to leave...he had other options...but elected not to use them...
