Found something different on Gunbroker. Never heard of this before. Anyone got any input?

It was special ordered ....H&R has done special orders in the past if someone want to order enough in quantity.....from the red butt pad, it's an older model....There's a pic of another one of the H&R guns that this company ordered on their web page. They use them for darting animals. The pic is a different model, but probably still used for the same process.

Interesting...
It looks like the serial# starts with "AF", how old would that make it?
The specs say 32 Gauge, but further down it says:

Any ideas what "cartridges" it will shoot?

we had those for animal control when I was an MP in the Army. I qualified with one but never darted an animal. I don't remember the things ever leaving the arms room other than for qualification. In order for me to use one it had to be approved by the provost marshal, then the weight of the animal had to be estimated, Then a vet had to prepare the dosage. The gun had to be picked up at the arms room and then if the animal had not died of old age we could dart it.
