hi have another question...I was looking for a source for flux locally...the only thing I could find was a can that said it was for braseing...wasnt sure so didnt buy it...any ideas or recomendations for surces of flux?...sure would be handy if you didnt have to order everything, but the weling shopps get a real confused look on their faces when I inquire about flux for cast lead...any help?..WW1

20 Mule Team Borax Soap. Use it to flux metal in forge welding and in
the Lead pot.

a lot of things make good flux , candles ,crayons, beeswax , bullet lube, sawdust ,motor oil, and even a wooden dowel stirred into the pot til it charcoals up works well. no sense spending money you could be spending on powder or primers, Enjoy.............Dean
