There are a number of good one out there and Milt Sparks is one of them. If you want you can go over to the Pistolsmth site and they have a discussion on the subject of leather and I know you will get good information there.

Tscotto;

I've been carrying in a Milt Sparks Exec's companion for years.  It's comfortable & effective.  I bought the holster & belt as a pair.   It's been money very well spent IMHO.

I've found this to be the most comfortable holster I've ever used.  I like it well enough for my Commander, I've ordered another for an XD.  I considered the price of the belt rediculious, but after talking with a few folks that had them, I found myself in a weak moment and bought one of the contour belts,  worth every penny.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at an IWB and an outside holster.
60TK for the outside and either the executive or vm2 for IWB.

Scott

Milt Sparks VM2

I carry my full size 1911 in a Milt Sparks VM2. It's a great holster, expensive (at least to me), but worth my money.

I had a harder time choosing my holster, than I did my pistol :-D

Hope you're happy with whatever you get.

I decided on the VM2 as well. MS lead time on leather is pretty long. I hope to receive the holster with in the next few weeks. I went a head and ordered the belt. I ordered the belt an inch longer to the center hole. I sure hope the thing isn't too long.

Scott

Milt Sparks Holster

I have a Milt Sparks Summer Special for my G17.  Most comfortable holster I have and wear it every day when off duty.  It is very comfortable with a full size gun, doesn't pinch or bind...just sits there day after day.  I have the horse hide holster, so there is a little drag coming out, but I find that very comforting as the gun NEVER slips.   I practice with it all the time, so clearing leather quickly is not an issue.

I also have a COMP-TAC holster...it hasn't moved from my drawer since I bought the Milt Sparks.  Hmmm...

Take a look at ebay and the other sites noted above.

Thanks
Bob

My Milt Sparks rig came in a week or so ago. I went with a shark skin belt and vm2 with shark skin in black. I couldn’t be more pleased. The quality is outstanding.

Take Care,
Scott
