Magazine Size--Glock 17 v. Beretta 92
« on: March 11, 2005, 06:16:34 AM »
Can someone tell me how the sizes of the Glock 17 and Beretta 92 magazines compare? I have a Glock 17 and I'm looking at mail ordering some mag pouches that are principally designed for the Beretta 92. I'm wondering if the pouches will accommodate my Glock mags. Can someone who has a Beretta 92 provide me the dimensions of one of the mags? Thanks!

The pouches are milsurp. I like the design and the price is right, but they are made for G.I. Beretta mags.

Surely someone can give me the dimensions of a Beretta 92 mag?

Well, I'd bet the mdl 17 mags will fit in the 92 pouches with room to spare. The 92 is a huge gun for the caliber. It stands to reason that the mags are larger than the 17. If the mag holders are milsurp, they have flaps, they should work ok.
