Walmart Combo 243/20
« on: March 11, 2005, 10:25:20 PM »
Hey, check out the link to the Walmart gun order page.  Does anyone know if this combo is on a standard SB2 frame?

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3138473&cat=170119&type=1&dept=4125&path=0%3A4125%3A4155%3A170080%3A170083%3A170119

This is the link for the page from the custom order form at the Walmart website.  This combo is not listed in the 2005 catalog.  Look at the price.  That's a hell of a deal if its on the SB-2 frame.

Not currently in stock at Sports South, but does appear to come with SB2 frame. Look at the link below.

Yes, your both correct..It is an SB2 frame, but if it's not in stock at Sports South Wal Mart cannot get it. Another gunshop that goes through a different distributor may be able to get one though, if any of their sources has one in stock, which has happened in the past. Good Luck....<><....

Yep, I checked that out too.  They frequently mess up numbers in their list and I have found that also true of Walmart.  So I did a bit of cross checking.  I noticed as you probably did, they list the LOP for an adult  on that link.  Wonder if you could specify that when you order and could get the longer butt stock.  Can't imagine how I missed that model on the order form before.(My favorite dream book)LOL  That would strictly be a buy for the receiver but it is large enough for deer and the 22/20ga barrel would be good for my grandsons in a couple years.

Cookieman, was that just a mistake or what did you mean when you refered to the 22/20gauge for your grandsons?....<><.... :?

I don't know if it is currently in production, but NEF DID have arimfire centerfire combo for a while.  It was on a SB-1 receiver though.  Not sure of barrel interchability on it.  they said it was a special receiver.
God, Family, and guns, in that order!

Are you thinking of the Versa-Pack.   That's a .410 barrel and a .22 barrel combo in Youth.   That combo is still in production.

The last time I put in a quote request from these guys I didn't get a response.  We will see if they respond this time.  I will let ya know.

Your welcome MSP.  Can't let you guys have all the fun.  I actually knew the answer to something instead of having only questions. LOL

Nice! And it also has the optional target (on the right) for deer hunting practice.
Ohhhh, I hate when that happens
