i have a 223 ultra bullbarrel. its around 8 years old and i haven't been able to find a good accurate load. factory loads shoot about 2"@100 and worse. should i reload and seat the bullet on the lands. it seem to have a long throat. what powder should i try. is there anything i can do to the gun such as bedding the barrel lug? i can't sale it! just something about the little gun i like!

your barrel may need a new crown like this.a new crown and a standard nef crown

or you might need a scope with AO so you you can shoot paralax free at a certian yardage.try a o ring on the barrel stud.maybe try some differant hand loads.there are lots of things to try
