Custom RCBS/LYMAN bullet sizing dies?
« on: March 12, 2005, 03:07:46 PM »
I,ve seen them some where on line.Bullet sizing dies in special diameters.I have a FA 475.And I want to order a LBT mould, but my .476 sizer die sizes .477. I'm afraid on some LBT designs and tight FA tolerances, some bullets won't chamber.
          Anybody know who makes them????

Robert Stillwell is your man. Check out http://www.sizingdie.com/
and see what he can do for you. You will want to mic the cylinder's exit holes and get a sizer .0005 over. Congrats on one fine revolver!

Buffalo Arms

When RCBS stopped doing this, they made arrangement with Buffalo Arms to pick up the slack.  The RCBS special orders were just that.  The Buffalo Arms odd sizes are a RCBS die that was close reground.  That works, I guess, but somehow it just isn't the same thing.

Large diameter sizing dies, however, can be difficult to remove from either an RCBS or Lyman L/S.
