I heed your suggestions. I had not taken any action yet until I recover from "sudden impulse purchasing syndrome". :wink:
In the mean time, I reloaded some low velocity rounds to plink for a while. I had found that this gun is the most accurate .44 mag that I ever had and a pleasant gun to shoot. I had always stayed away from single action revolvers and I also stayed away from larger than 6" bbl length. Not any more. This gun has shown some potentials right out of the box and if I change the base pin, and lighten up the trigger with a new set of Wolf springs, perhaps this happiness could increase. What else do you think I need to do to this gun to make it a great gun (without having to approach FA gun cost?) Can I do the change of springs myself or should leave that to a gun smith? How do you go about changing the spring?
