I am looking forward to this pistol being available.  I will scope it with a
Leupold 2.5X-8X.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go.  Some stay awhile and leave footprints on our hearts.  And we are never.  Ever the same.   Authur unknown.  In memory of my son Jonathan.

In answer to your question, your post seems to have generated quite a bit of discussion about the .460. I take it, however, that you're questioning the dearth of discussion in the shooting world at large. I attribute that a general tiredness among some shooters regarding the many "greatest-new-thing-of-all-time" cartridges that have recently been introduced. Maybe it's just my perception, but there seems to have been a boom in new cartridge offerings of late. These have included the .17 rimfires, the Ultra Magnums, the Short Magnums, various bottlenecked pistol cartridges, and various big-bore revolver Magnums. I guess greater selection in the market is a good thing, but I confess that not a single one of these new cartridges has struck a chord with me. I'd guess I'm not the only one in this camp. I'm just tired of hearing about all the new cartridges, but that's just me.

Maybe we're living in the best of times for handgunners.  The selection of handguns we have in this country boggles the imagination.  The best will still be around long after I'm dead and buried and the misfires will pass before I do.  I love innovation and expirimentation in firearms, especially when its on somebody else's nickle!!
