Guess what followed me home last night? I made the trek into the City ( Roanoke ) yesterday to take care of some business and while I was there stopped by the ol' gun shop to pick up a can of powder.  When I walked by the handgun case there she lay, surrounded by a bunch of slip-0-matics.  I just couldn't leave the pretty little thing there in that kind of company.  Besides the next guy through the door would probably be one of those collecter types who would take it and put it out of sight for the next hundred years.  Good guns deserve to be out running through the woods and going bang..bang..bang!!  Yep that's where this is going anyway.  I think she likes me already!  GOOD SHOOTIN', Walt   :-D  :-D

Had my 20th wedding anniversary on the 16th.  Wife asked me what I wanted, of course, the 50th anniversay Blackhawk.  She couldn't find one.  So were looking for a FA silhouette model 41 mag.  See what happens when you marry the right gal!!

Hopalong7,
Good for you!  I have an old model (you know, a REAL one   ) in .45 Colt.  'Love it.  It was made in '71, one of only two years they were made.
