Colt Python serial# HELP

Hi :D
I just got a Colt Python Serial #87xxxE,Do any of you guys know when it was made.It looks to be made out of a mirror bright stainless steel.Any help would be welcome,Can't find anything on the web.Thanks and have a great day. :-)

Hi, it should be made of nickel, and the year of manufacture is 1978.
