nef slug gun sights?

Was at Gander today seen a used nef slug gun....The front sight had no screw in it....not even a place to put a screw.....Are they glue or bonded on or what....Looks like a tap with a brass hammer and it would come off....is there any slug nef  models that they screw that front sight on....Back sight looked like a normal nef sight....Just thought it was different just like me...... :-D  :)

I've been reading and posting about these guns on this and other forums for quite a while now and I look at this forum almost everyday and I don't ever remember anyone mentioning the sight coming off. I got one last winter but life hasn't been to hard on it yet. If there was a problem with them coming off I'm sure there would have been post's about it. I've never heard of a slug gun from H&R/NEF that had screw on sights. That doesn't mean that they don't exist.
