The info I have is that it was a joint developed powder between Goex and American Pioneer Powder,Inc. and is made in the U.S. by A.P.P. Inc.

If so,my guess is that it is probably much like APP. Less fowling,H2O cleanup,etc... and if so,recommend possibly checking into FFFg, as FFg is pretty coarse on the APP.

I have similar information although I doubt that it was a "joint development" more like a joint agreement and the powder is likely to be exactly the same as APP. There is only so much they can do with the basic APP powder and unless they make some major advancements it will be the same. I also agree that fffg would be the grade to buy if you like APP powder. It will basically become which is easier to buy and the best price. Since Goex has a little more money and marketing I suspect they will become the leader eventually. They are going to have to go head to head with Black Mag'3 and so far APP is coming out second best by my standards.

I think I will stay with triple7 in my Muzzleloaders and Goex black powder in my 45-70 black powder cartridges. It is hard to switch when something works so well.  :D
