range report:
well i really don't think my gun likes the 40gr bullets. i started my loads at 28.0gr and moved up in .4 entervalles (sp) well it turns out that from 28.0 through 29.0 all bullets keyholed but when i got up to 29.5 and 30 (max)the keyholing stopped. so i shot three five shot groups of the 30gr load at 100 yards. the best five shot group i had was .43 ctc the worst was .89 so it didn't do too bad. the recoil was great i could see all shots through the scope so long as the scope was set under 14 power ,16 if you where lucky. still it was really fun to shoot . milk jugs at 250 where a lot of fun and i was only about 1 1/2 inches low . after the rain stops i'm going to go back out and play with the 29.5 load and see how that does.
