Just called H&R to order a new synthetic forarm and check the status of my 44mag barrel I ordered ... it shipped on teh 17th.

They received it on the 18th of Feb, and shipped on the 17th of March ... 29 day turn around ... not too shabby

They must have heard me groaning in Montana ....  :-D

I have a "One Ragged Hole" sight on order.  The gun will be here first, so it WILL get fired with factory sights first

Here's the link to the sight oneraggedhole.com

That sight should work just fine. I prefer my peep sights at the rear but i had taken  the rear peep off of my kids savage cub 22 and it fit right on my cva muzzleloader right where the rear sight sits.  Set up is the same. I was allowed to do that as i mounted a scope on the cub.
