Ruger # 1 question

I recently bought a used Ruger 1 .270 which I really like. I am curious
as to how old this gun is, is there a way to look it up by serial # to determine what year it was manufactured?

Go to the ruger website. www.ruger.com.  Go to product service and under Product service you will find serial number history.  Enter your serial number and it will tell you what year your rifle was made
