Well, the weather got cruddy again, so I headed out to the local trout stream right after work. Me and my buddy were the only ones crazy enough to be standing in freezing rain and wind trying to cast. Turns out the water picked up just enough stain and was running high, so the fishing was hot. I limited out and didn't even feel the cold. Plus it was pretty peaceful without anyone else around out there. I highly recommend trying out the fishing when the weather is bad enough to put everyone else at home. The fish don't seem to notice much. I've hit a point where I don't really go out much until the weather gets bad, at least for the trout around here. I really haven't tried it out for the crappie and bluegills (yet) :grin:
