Laredo, I have a .22lr/mag that I picked up used for a very reasonable price.  I didn't expect a lot at the time, but I find that it shoots as good as any .22 I own.  It needed a little spring work to smooth it up.  I put a spacer under the hammer spring and one of the new wire style trigger and bolt springs in it.  I like it a lot now.  I've thought about picking one up in .45 colt and someday hope to but my funds have been temporarly divirted to other guns.  I was favorably impressed with my .22 and hope a .45 is comparable.  Hope we both get some more feedback.  You might also try the cowboy forum.  44 Man

I had one for a short time.  I liked to shoot it.  I did have some issue with the grip screws wanting to back out if I recall.
