30/30 reloading Data ?

I haven't even shot my new 45/70 handi rifle yet and I am thinking on a 30/30 handi rifle for deer in NY, but i would like to try 180 grain bullets , How do the 180 gr. bullets perform at 30/30 velocity or should i stick with the standard 170  FP ?  100 yds. would be the max range with under 50 being the norm I dont need a long range pointed bullet at those ranges but i was thinking about maybe using the 180 RN

It's very hard to beat the 170gr sierra .30-30 bullet over 32 gr w748, with cci250 primer.  Anything within 150 yards is history if you do your part.
