Seating Die Question.
« on: March 24, 2005, 04:09:51 PM »
This is something I probably should kbnow but am not sure about. I took my seating die apert to clean it today. (RCBS) I noticed that the flange in the seater plug is cracked. I wonder if this will cause the seater to seat the bullets crooked. I have never seen one cracked like that. I quess I could order a new plug and stem. Or I may get a new die set.
shot placement is everything.

I thought RCBS dies were warranted for life....I'd ask for a replacement before I bought a new set....maybe it's defective....I'd contact RCBS first...

Thanks. I sent them off a question about it. I expect they will replace the rod and plug or the whole die.
