XR-100 SCOPE BASES

Bases for the Remington Model 7 fit the XR-100.

Early Model 7's had 3 screw holes-----the ones from the last 3-4 years have had 4 screw holes----I'm assuming the XR has 4.

That is correct. The XR-100 takes the same base as the current Model 7 with four holes.

Why is this a sticky?

No idea why it was, it's no longer sticky.
