Will a VAQUERO barrel work on a blackhawk. I have a vaquero barrel that i would like to put on my bh 45 colt.Will this work??

Yes, aside from the front site the bbls are the same. The rear sights are the only differences in the frames. This at least is true for the "old" Vaqueros. Not sure about the compatability of the New vaqueros and the BH's. Curious, are you going after the front sight or a particular bbl length?

I'm looking for the length. I have 7 1/2 and want a 5 1/2

I think we've already been through this -- someone had several take-off barrels and was offering them cheap. When I asked about any special tricks or tools needed, he responded that it would be cheaper to cut the old barrel and re-install the front sight.

Your right we have,I have a vaquero barrel layin around and thought it might work
