Will someone tell me the markings that are on the T/C contender g-2?

Does it have the word contender anyplace on the paperwork or frame?

The only thing I see on the frame is the s/n. The instructions that came with the gun proudly says it is for a G-2 Contender. The paper generated with the sale by my gunshop also calls it a Contender. T/C calls it a Contender and advertises it as such.

Why the question?

my state will not let any new handgun in the that it has not approved, the contender is on the approved list. if the factory just upgraded the contender and still has the contender name then it is still ok to bring in, however if the factory upgraded it and changed the name then the state will have to approve it for sale.
