Just returned from a two day hunt and give the place a solid B+.

Rooms were adequate, food was good, simple country cooking, tasty and ample.

Hunting was fair chase, from tree stands and walk and stalk at night in the swamp (lots of fun!!).

The lodge has a fishing pond, pool table and lots of friendly people.

Despite the fact that we were rained out for one day we still killed 8 pigs, 1 from a tree stand and the rest in a wild two hours from 10-12 PM.

My guide gun loaded with 405 grain SP @ 1700 fops wacked a 125 pound sow  at around 25 yards.

only negative is they did not dress/skin the pigs until the next morning, they were stored in a walk in freezer, somewhat understandable as all had been up since 0500 at it was 0200 when we quit.

day time shooting ranges from point blank to 150-200 yards
