Questions about California central coast pig hunting
« on: March 30, 2005, 07:44:05 AM »
My in-laws live in Salinas, CA and they have friends with property that would love nothing more than to have someone take a couple of wild pigs off their land.  Does anyone know about the laws regarding hog hunting in CA if you're a non-resident?  Are there seasons?  Any info would be helpful.

You'll need an annual non-resident hunting license, plus a pig tag.  The tags are bought over the counter for $50.  The license will cost around $110 (if memory serves...)  The season is open year round.  Have fun !!!

jpuke,

The Non-Resident license is $108.50 per year.  A hog tag will cost you $50.00 each.  Limit is one per day and one in possession.  Open year around.  Hope trhis helps.  Lawdog

Yea, i'm with Dusty. Maybe we could set up a hunt and all meet and have some fun! :D

Also there is no bag limit for residents, is it different for non-residents?
