Had to Pass This Along....

Why is it?

COWS
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government
can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago,
right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington.
And they tracked her calves to their stalls.
But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens
wandering around our country.
Maybe we should give them all a cow.

Sad, but true

CONSTITUTION
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq.
Why don't we just give them ours?
It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's
worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore.

My Favorite!!

TEN COMMANDMENTS
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments
in a Courthouse!
You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery"
and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building
full of lawyers, judges and politicians!

Ah but one must not forget; the first version of our 'constitution' failed in 1787 miserably then another version was re-drafted in 1789 then that one stuck. The Iraqi's might have the same problem. It's an important history lesson that should be taught and dealt with.

And we certainly are still using it. You still have the right to vote (I'd assume since your handle is Deb that must imply a female gender), we still own guns regardless of the fact how many times the right it was threatened, etc.

Because it's ours. No one else's  .   :D

Don,

How about your thoughts on the constitution?

My thoughts on the other two things...

I do find it interesting that they can supposedly do that with cattle. Maybe they should find a way to do that with illegals. Then again, the cattle are legal citizens of the country :) .

The Ten Commandments....not much to say b/c I don't think any one of us let alone just people in a courtroom follow them to the letter.

Just my :money:  :D

I think that the constitution is a great document not worth the paper it's written on. For it to have value, the government need's to insure it is followed, not followed when it suit's the need's of government. Tell Randy Weaver about his right to keep and bear arms. They murdered his wife and child over 1/4" of shotgun barrel, or did they? And who were the people in Waco bothering? And why are police and judge's exempt from law? Why is it acceptable to lie in court for some? Is that all men being created equal or an example of some being more equal than other's? Maybe Mary Jo deserved the same justice, but we just left her for dead and turned away. Had someone else done that we'd know a lot more about it. Why is protecting our right to keep and bear arms a fight and why has that right been cancelled in some places? Does New York City ring a bell, how about Washington D.C. or certain subrub's of Chicago?
Yep, the constitution is a great document, but it only has value when government enforce's all of it all of the time. All men were created equal weren't they. Just some more equal than other's.
