new discovery last night.

ran out of hornady spray case lube and had a tub of anhydrous lanolin in the cubbord that i use to make felix lube. I gave it a try to size 3030s to 730 waters cases and its the best dammed case lube ive ever tried. Just dip your fingers in the tub and rub the smallest amount on the case and it sizes like grease lightning. A $25 tub would probably last two people there lifetime!

I suspect Lanolin is a major component of Hornady's Unique case lube they sell in little tubs.  I've had my tub for probably 15 -20 yrs and I'm only 1/2 way through it.  Guess I don't load lots compared to many here. Love that stuff - smells good, makes your hands smooth, pretty easy to wipe off cases and they even say you can use it on leather.  It smells a little like mink oil leather dressing too but its white.

The other reason that lube has lasted me so long is that I went to carbide dies for all my hand gun loading.

The only stuff I've seen was from a pharmacy - prescribed to a friend's wife for some relief while she was nursing one of her sons.
