How much do I have to spend to get decent accuracy?

Is there anyone out there that makes a decent BB gun these days that doesnt cost an arm and leg?
 I have been out of the air gun market for many years, but I really enjoyed them as a kid. I had a Crossman 760 that was deadly accurate and powerfull, also my friend had a Daisy powerline that was just as good back then.
 Twenty some years later, I have found the quallity of these lower priced pump BB shooters to be a real joke.
 What is going on? Its like these manufacturers are in competition to see who can make the biggest P.O.S.
 Who makes one that still has acceptable accuracy and would still be fun to shoot? 38 bucks worth of BB gun is obviously just wasting money.

About $99.95 will get you a rifle that will have an accuracy rating of 0.15” @ 10 meters.  Or for around $54.95 you can get a pneumatic pump that is accurate enough to pick off gophers out of your yard(my mother did).  All depends on your wallet.  Lawdog

For the $99.95 you can get the very accurate Tech Force M97 in either .177 or .22 caliber.  It has the accuracy rating of 0.15" @ 10 meters.  For the 54-95 you can get what my mother got a Crosman model 66(or a model 2100).  A 5 shot repeater pneumatic pump that are surprisingly accurate.  My mother keeps her garden clean of varmints with hers(ranges up to 30 yards).  My only problem with those Crosman’s are they are cheaply made.  Lots of plastic that breaks easily.  My advice is go for the Tech Force M97.  I got one for my sister to keep the pests out of her veggie garden and it has worked very well at ranges out to 45(+/-) yards.  I mounted a BSA air rifle approved scope, 3-12X40A/O T.T., on BKL mounts.  Costs as much as the rifle but really brings out the accuracy potential of the rifle.  Go to http://www.compasseco.com/shop/products.html?maingroup=Tech%20Force%20Air%20Guns&secondgroup=Air%20Rifles to see the complete line of Tech Force rifles that Compasseco, Inc. has to offer.  Great people to do business with.  Lawdog

What about the lower priced Tech Force rifles?  The Tech Force 22 is only $40 and offers 600fps in a .22 and 700 in .177.  Is this a decent rifle?

I have never handled let alone shot one of the lower priced so I can't say.  They may very well be accurate or they could be a piece of junk, I just don't know so I won’t recommend any of them.  I have owned/shot the following models - 99, 97 25, 50/51, 21, and 40.  Most of these are clones of European made air guns.  The 99 is a clone of the HW97 while the 97 looks like the HW77 except for the stock, the 40 is a clone of the Air Arms TX200, the 50/51 is a clone of the Daystate Huntsman, The 21 is a clone of the RWS 48, and the 25 is a clone of the HW95.  All of these are accurate and powerful.  Lawdog
