How many time a week........

........would you guy/gals say you use your handguns. Not including CCW, because I know that there are states that dont have it, and there are forums members that cant get it and Im sure there are forum members that can get it that dont want to.

Any how I was just wondering how much you guys use your handguns for hobby, sport, target, hunting, ext. ext. .

I like to shot about 2 days a week sometimes only get 1 day. Mostly only target and small game hunting.

Is there any one on the forums from the Midd Tenn area?

I'd love to shoot out of my door, but the other people in my apartment complex probably wouldn't understand. Luckily, it doesn't rain much in Phoenix.

I shoot about once a week; sometimes once every two weeks. Time not spent shooting is usually spent handloading.

I always have a gun with me when I am in or near the woods, about 5 times (more or less) a week.
It might be just for an atv ride or cutting wood, but I always have firepower with me. I usually don't end up shooting, but if I need it....
Usually my 14" 223 Contender, sometimes I'll throw my Buckmark Micro in the case also.

At least once a week weather/work permiting. BTW I am the range's official photog when we have our sharp-shooter chalenge shoot every other month.

Hrad to say, but every chance I can would be the best answer, when I get my house finished I'll have a range in my back yard. I'd say I'll be shooting alot. :grin:

At least once a week...twice if I can afford it.  It's not the ammo that's expensive.  It's that dang Macy's bill that comes at the end of the month, when my bride is at the mall while I'm at the range!   :)

I live on a farm so the ability to practice depends on the amount of varmits and vermin available. We also have a range so if the need arises or atleast once a week I stop at the range for some practice. Mostly my little smith k-22.

Twice a week.

PPC league on Tuesday.

Bullseye league on Thursday.

Weekends are for gun shows and shooting clays in the summer.

Then in the fall there is deer season.

:roll: Most of the time two-three times a week.  I have a gun of some kind in the truck when I go out to check the farm.  There is always something that needs to be shot........feral dog, coyote, bobcat or one of them old oil cans down behind the barn.  May only be a few shots, but its practice.

I used to shoot about 1 time a month but I got lucky and moved to the country know I shoot just about three times a week lucky me :yeah:  and I also do some deer hunting in the fall

TO ALL....when you say once a wk or twice whatever....... How much?At what,with what? Off a rest or freehand?I live in the country and shoot a couple times a month at least,Redhawk 44 mostly right now(it's new to me )contender 410 16in pistol for gophers that are always digging sh#t up.SGB :D

I shoot a Smith & Wesson M41 and or M 52 at least once a week at bullseye shooting.

I also shoot 45 Kimber super match at ppc once a week, also a 586, and soon a 646.  

As well I shoot a variety of 38 specials, typically m's: 10, 12, 14, 15, 36, 38, 49, 64, 65, 67.   Add to this the big boomers when ever I feel like it.

Then there are all the others, to many to name but when you get a wild hair you cannot fight it you must go shooting.

I try hard to shoot every day exept Sundays. Here lately I haven't been able to, but I'll be back to my regular routine pretty soon.
