LaCrosse AlphaBurly's
« on: April 05, 2005, 05:22:17 PM »
I guess these boots are counterparts of the LaCrosse Burly's. I believe there are now five models avaliable, with insulation optional. I got the one with the cleated soles, as opposed to the Chevron soles and with a Mossy Oak camo pattern.

They took me through the fall and the winter and will now take me into turkey season. I got them before our muzzleloader season and not once did they let me down. They've been everywhere, from swampland to woodlands to mountains. The only thing I've noticed is that my feet sweat easily in them. This is a surprise considering they are rubber boots. They are lined with fleece, however, and I usually wear RedHead wool socks with them.

I would recommend these boots to anybody and I'd buy another pair tomorrow.  :D
