Booking a hunt
« on: February 13, 2003, 05:03:52 AM »
Hello -

A family member has attended a seminar put on by various western outfitters, and is on the verge of booking us a hunt in Montana for next season.  While I'm excited about this, I would like to check out the credentials of the outfitter before I send any money.

Never having booked hunts before, I'm not sure how to go about getting information on the quality of the outfitter and his hunts.  What recommendations can you offer?

Thanks,

The Blade

 Get some references from previous  hunters. Good outfitters are happy to have you talk to other customers. It's not foolproof but check at least 3 references. :biggun:
