I was reading my handloader mag. and saw an ad for this website. it is like $24.50 a year for membership.

does anyone have a membership? is it worth it?

Can't really say if it's worth it, but I've been a member for several years and continue to renew. There are 1000's of loads, including some for the more obscure rounds. I log on and check for new loads which they continually add. They have a huge database. For the price, it's probably worth the cost just to give it a try for a year and then make your own judgment.

I got several manuals, all getting old now, but with all the free data on the web I see no reason for paying for data. I also play around with several wildcat rounds that there is no good data for so I`m used to looking for presure sighns ect. That, plus what shoots good in one gun will not nessarily shoot good in another. There`s just to much free stuff on the net to get me to pay for a page. :wink: But then I`m cheap. :lol:

I do not advertise here, but I have a link on my posts to www.reloadersnest.com I also send people from there to Graybeard's site regularly. All of the data at Reloadersnest is FREE to anyone, especially the members on this forum. Also....we have a forum on Graybeards for reloading. If you ever need help with load data, there are plenty of experienced people on here that will share their knowledge of reloading for FREE. All you need to do is ask. Try it and see. I have gotten junk mail from that company since it started, and I just do not see anything there that I need.....certainly not for the computer generated pictures of bullets that you can stick next to each other to compare their dimensions.....I can do that on my kitchen table.
P.S....you can also get Free data from another one of G.B's members at www.stevespages.com If you have not visited his site yet, I highly recommend it, but be forewarned....you could hang out at Steve's for about a week and get lost. There are lot's of data, great articles, and links to just about anything you could possibly imagine.

springer222, I know you can print out the pages from load data.com but can you save it to your hard drive and email them as needed?

Robert , Thinks for the links I will have to check out your site and I plum forgot about www.stevespages.com. Have you thought about taking out an ad on graybeards for your website?

It isn't my website. I just help out around there, or at least I try to if I can stay out of trouble. About the same on Graybeard's. I am amazed he hasn't run me off long ago. G.B. has the patience of a saint. He would have to, to keep up with this place.

I have never tried to print to file. If I want to save the data, I copy and paste to an Excel spreadsheet. As for components, Load Data is a database that you can search by powder, bullet, etc., but you are limited to the data in the database

I have a membership don't now if it is worth it or not but it is a cool site loads of loading info and always adding new loads every time I go back to the site their is more
