I have an Iver Johnson Supershot Sealed Eight revolver that won't work. As far as I can tell before disassembling it, the lifter is either broken off or missing. As a result the trigger does not pull back when the hammer is thumb-cocked and there is nothing to transfer the hammer blow to the firing pin.
Can someone tell me a source for parts or if the internal parts of the supershot are interchangeable with any of the other Iver Johnson models? Numrich doesn't list the Supershot Sealed Eight but does list several others.
I'd really like to get this gun shooting because its the one my Dad taught me to shoot with about 40 years ago.
