I like the red-dots for quick target acquisition.  :D

I have a Red dot on my RH it replaced a 2x, I am grouping better with it. However it is a 30mm tube which is easier for me to see with.

Although I posted above I liked red-dots, I blew out my  Millet red-dot today on my BFR 500MAG. I replaced it with a Leupold 4X EER scope.  :-)

TruGlo is just about to release a 2X red dot scope that sounds like it will have real possibilities.

You can check it out on the link below:

I think it is shipping mid-April just on the edge of being too late for turkey season.  Can't wait to try one though.

Hunt4570...What range do you plan on shooting that SRH?  Are you going to shoot 25 yards, 50 yards, 75 yards, or more?  If you are going to keep the shots under 50 yards then I would suggest one of the better made red dot sites on the market.  If you are going to be shooting beyond 50 yards then I would recommend a quality 2x scope from Leupold, Burris or Nikon...There are others but those three really come to mind when I think of 2x EER scopes for pistols.  Good luck with whatever you choose.
