NEF .22 Hornet are they accurate!!!!!
« on: April 10, 2005, 06:42:53 PM »
I got a buddy who wants to sell his NEF .22 Hornet with simmons 4-12X40 Scope for $200 Bucks.  I was wondering how the Hornet shoot in the nef polymer stock guns. Does anyone know the twist in the hornet's barrels?????

Thanks Chance Doane

The hornet has a 1 in 12" twist....most of the H&R caliber rates of twist are listed in the FAQ sticky above.  I have the wood stocked 22 hornet, with my handload using the 35gr Vmax it will shoot a 10 shot group in less than 1" at 100yds, I would expect the synthetic stocked model to shoot just as good with the right load.
